The idyllic village Neos Panteleimonas is
directly located on the shores of the
Aegean Sea and at the base of the
famous Mount Olympus. Olympic
Wings, a professionally managed
Outdoor Centre, was established there in
1995, specialising in the organisation of
holidays centred around outdoor
adventure activities and paragliding.

The Outdoor Centre is housed in
privately owned buildings combining a
paragliding instruction centre, a
paraglider shop as well as comfortable
accommodations, with modern double
bedrooms, bathroom, shower and toilet
facilities. Breakfast room, lounge, small
bar and sauna complement the
accommodation. The living quarters are
a few minutes walking distance from the
beach and the village centre. There,
traditional Greek taverns offer local food
and drinks.

PARAGLIDING
|
Olympic Wings paragliding school is managed by Asterios
Makrovassilis, an experienced pilot and a FAI qualified English speaking instructor. The school is officially
recognized by the Greek Flying Assosiation
(E.AL.E.).
The teaching staff is fully familiar with the region and all its seasonal weather conditions.
Complete training of the staff guarantees you a safe and fun flight.

Crossing Mount Olympos
Crossing Olympus is an unforgettable experience for all guests wishing to discover
the unique variety of Mount Olympus. This
adventure week demonstrates the famous Gods’ mountain
in it’s splendid characteristics.

Mountain Biking
The cycling tour combines routes carefully
planned to mix difficult and easy sections of
the trip. Stops will naturally be scheduled to
enjoy the interesting scenery and to take
pictures of old mountain villages or just to take
a little rest.

Trekking
Walking and hiking are still a favourite way to
discover the fascination of Olympus and its
surroundings. The landscape offers changing
impressions of nature and the slow pace of
walking will be enjoyable.
Olympic Wings offers different programs for
trekking, suitable for sunny holidays all the
year round.
In addition to the most beautiful and best known routes, this
program includes some
of the special tracks discovered by our tour
guides.

These tours will create impressions
far away from mass tourism. All tours are
suitable for occasional hikers.
Each activity comprises 5 days of crossing, biking or trekking
and a sixth day relaxing at the beach where you can perhaps take a
tandem paragliding flight to complete your holiday. |

Travel
Olympic Wings recommends booking a flight to
Thessaloniki airport, which is approximately
100km distance from Neos
Panteleimonas.
Should you choose to fly to Athens, you may
board a train to Katerini which is a 5 hour
journey. On arriving in
Katerini, you will be
picked-up by car for a short 20 minute trip to
the village.
Pick-up is organised by Olympic Wings
either at the Thessaloniki airport or at the
railway station in Katerini. On request we also
organise reasonable flight tickets.
